Find A Grave is a global endeavor to record dates, biographical info, and burial sites for deceased loved ones. Keep in mind, content is volunteer generated and errors may occur.
Georgia Historic Newspapers. An initiative of the University System of Georgia, the Digital Library of GA features historical as well as recent newspapers from across the state. Begin by clicking on the map of the Georgia region you're interested in (North, Middle, etc.) and locate the titles listed by county. Please note Thomaston/Upson newspapers are not digitized and are unavailable on this site.

His comprehensive database, Slaves & Slavemasters of Upson County, documents thousands of enslaved persons represented in local court records. This database is available to view by visiting the Archives.
