The office of Public Buildings was created in 1999 when the County offices were relocated to their current location at the Upson County Government Complex. The Government Complex is located on the former R. E. Lee High School campus.
The office of Public Buildings is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all County owned buildings and grounds. The buildings covered by this office are:
This office is also responsible for keeping the County playgrounds and meeting areas clean and ready for use. Inmate labor and community service workers are utilized in carrying out the duties of this office when needed. It is the goal of the office of Public Buildings to keep the County buildings and grounds looking good to reflect the pride which we have in our County.
